You could also opt for the RICA iSoftloader -

http://www.rica-uk.com/softloader.aspx

You can then install the upgrade by yourself via the OBD2 port, as well as being able to switch between standard and modified whenever you wish.

Alternatively, you can have it installed by a RICA dealer (also via OBD2).

been to a rica dealer, came out £600 lighter with a new slave cylinder that went on test drive, also when the test where done to see if my car was fit to accept the rica map they stated that i had issues with the maf, 3 injectors of which 1 was not working and also the egr valve, i have the test reports here at the moment, as for the maf, egr, and injectors they are all fine according to vct2000 and a trip to fort william with a caravan loaded to 1500 kg so read into that what you wish, when i have got the money back together again i will go MTE.

That sounds a bit iffy, so you went for a remap and ended up coming out with a suggestion of a very large bill?

It is good that they test drive to prep for a remap, but not for the benefit of trying to sell goods.

Not on at all.

sounds well dodgy to me m8 - esp since you got it checked elsewhere and your car came out A-OK.

The slave cylinder is for the clutch ? If it broke during the test drive, you'll know it too - right ? For the other electronic parts, those are abt off BUT you can always bring this up to the RICA man himself.

The following email is their overseas correspondent whom I think will be interested in your case : kalle.nilsson@ricaab.se
