Default Towbar for V70

Hello
I've got a V70 00-07 and need to put a towbar on it. I have rear parking sensors, how do i know if the towbar is going to set them off? Presume if it does, then the way to get round this is to install a detachable towbar. Is this correct - any other reason for going detachable/

Thanks
Mick

Hi,
I have a V70 '06 with towbar and reverse park sensors - they work fine together. Had an XC90 and bought a detachable tow bar because of the rear park sensors and did not need to - they never reacted to it!
Hope this helps.

I have a V70 1997 with a tow bar and rear parking sensors and the tow bar doesn't set off the parking sensors. My tow bar is not detachable by the way.
