Hi All
Having just had a frightening bill from my Volvo main dealer and a very inflexible attitude I am now looking for a Volvo specialist with a good reputation within not too great a distance of Bognor Regis. Can anyone help? Cheers Adrian |

RE: Specialists
It may help us to help you if you give the details of your "frightening Bill". All the best, Peter. |

RE: Specialists
Hi Peter
This particular bill was over £1100 despite VOC discount for changing discs and pads, 2 CV boots and a general service. But I would be interested to find a specialist who can deal with Volvo issues in general as I would rather be able to develop a relationship with whoever I use rather than flitting from one place to another. Cheers Adrian |

RE: Specialists
That does seem steep, even for a Volvo dealer. Our local specialist has standard charges such as Annual service between £85 for 340/440/740/940 and £99 for 960 and S/V90. The charge for front and rear pad replacement is from £90 for 340/440 to £145 for S60/80. He states that all prices are subject to VAT and that Volvo parts used except for batteries. I believe they give VOC discount. However he may not be within striking distance of yourself. He is based in Bridgend, South Wales. There is another who is right next door to the Cardiff dealer. All the best, Peter. |

Hi Peter
Unfortunately South Wales is quite a long way off the track for me. I get there about once every 2 years! It's really West Sussex or maybe Hampshire border I am looking for. Cheers A. |
