Default HALOGEN TO XENON

I just noticed my first V70 on the road the other week with bi-xenons. As this is an option on new cars, has anyone thought or looked into upgrading with original units? I asked my dealer and they were a bit dubious, due to an upgrade in software & complications fitting that would be necessary. Has the likes of Volvotuning/Nordic/Kalmar or alike checked this out for themselves?

They look nice, but, personally I find them dazzling on both oncoming cars and those behind. I don't know whether these are badly adjusted or not. The white/blue light you get off them, however, I think is lovely and very clear, just ... dazzling.

You might want to take advice on the legality of non-self levelling units despite what the above company says.

Plus you probably would still need normal bulbs for high beam so you can flash your headlights - the xenons wouldn't fire up quickly enough.

I had thought about that, but the fact that they are BI-xenons mean they are for both main & full beam?
I also thought about an upgrade for plug & plays but if the original units can be swapped over with slight adjustments, then I'd prefer that.
