Are all 940 headlights the same?

Any differences in the above or are they all the same?

From searching most places only list upto 1995.... I would need 96'

The headlamps are the same up to 1998 (one of the lenses on my 940 is from my earlier '91 940).
If you are looking for LHD, you could just change the lenses. Nordic sell LHD lenses and complete headlamp units.

Just the lenses! Really? That would be perfect...

I was presuming that the reflectors were different too. When I have been looking into LHD reflectors for my current 240 it came up with different part numbers....

How do the reflectors on 940's stand up? As everyone knows the 240's reflectors were a nightmare and a common problem.

Had a look at Nordic (great resourse BTW)

Would it be worth changing the whole unit? How easy is it to change lenses?

I would have thought that the main difference is the prism design on the lenses.
The reflectors do seem to have different part numbers though.

Ahhh...you got me all excited that I could get away with just lenses!!

Still I may find a 940 in a scrappy over here....in which case I'll grab them.... Although most cars in scrapyards here have had some major impact!!!

The lenses are just secured with spring clips on the top and bottom of the lamps.
If you remove the wiper arm and trim piece below the lamp, with a flat bladed screwdriver you can lever off the clips and then carefully extract the lens and neoprene gasket.
