75% of 100 is 75. then 75% of 75 is 56.25. 75% of 56.25 is 42.2 and so on....

You cant just keep taking 25% off the initial figure.

Yes, I know this. I was taking the p*ss out of the sellers ad. If I were to fit 4, or 4 sets as they call it , my car would use no fuel. If I were to fit an extra one, then I would be making fuel. I was having a dig at the way their ad is worded. And, as anyone knows all these inventions are simply crackpot ideas which have evolved over the years.

thanks for the maths lesson i don't know about ragamuffin .but now i am confused. however back to the op they are only on sale to make money for those who are selling them, i normaly find the easier way to save fuel is use decent stuff and do not let your right foot get too heavy

Ron, I was mocking the sellers ad, they are full of it some of them and are preying on peoples fear of ever increasing fuel costs. Many years ago there was a "fuel saving device" which looked like the internals of a turbocharger but in miniature. It fitted inside the tailpipe of the exhaust. According to the sales pitch of the time, it sucked the exhaust gas out of the engine quicker, therefore making the engine more efficient!! You are however correct on the right foot principal. Its all we can do really, apart from not use the car.

Default they do work

this item does work,
what hes not telling you is that some additives that are in the fuel are sucked to the magnet.
these additives lubricate your engine.
so you know what happens when your engine dose not get lubricated.
this idea has been around for a while.
got offered a buisness doing these back in the 90s.
soon disappeared when engines started going bang.
A better idea is to look into bio fuel.
hope this helps
