Default 2002 D5S air in fuel system

NEED HELP PLEASE...This car has been sitting for a while now, last time it ran it took 3 or 4 turns of the key, gave a rattle the fired up.I noticed a lack of power coming down the road, the car has not run since. The in tank pump has been changed as there was a severe lack of fuel pressure getting to the main injector pump but I think I've got air in the fuel system,is there a special tool I need to get rid of the air or is there an easy way to get it sorted.By the way, this car has been plugged into the diagnostics but shows no faults...Not got a clue what I'm going to do next so any pointers would be great.P.S Many thanks for the replies to previous posts...Cheers.

I think the D5 is self bleeding, just crank it over until it starts.
Try opening the tap on the bottom of the fuel filter to drain any water that may be in there, or change the filter while your at it!
