240 Torslanda in Bodmin, Cornwall
I bought this car on ebay the other week, and have paid for it. I am having difficulty in getting down to Cornwall anytime soon, so wondered if a member closer to Cornwall might like to take it off me for what I paid for it - £330
Volvo 240 Torslanda Estate currently on SORN ( tax ran out end Jan 11), but with 6 months MOT. Recently replaced pads & discs (front), front off side caliper, catalytic converter, alternator & starter motor (total spent £1000.00). Some service history. Needs a little TLC: new oil plug ( part no. 1336763 approx cost £5.00), new dash board bulbs or rheostat, exhaust back box hinge & bonnet hinge spring (it opens, but heavy !). Let me know simoncordery@btinternet.com or 07801 577513 Looks like a no brainer as a breaker, and might even polish up well. Thanks |

Hi there I looked at your images but all I saw was a load of code or gibberish?
Maybe my version of windows doesn't cope with them,Windows 7. Regards Brian. |

For those of you who can't see the pictures, just look at any red Torslanda, and think what one priced at £330 might look like, then be surprised at the reality.

A few questions> is it running and driveable? Is it an MOT failure - if so what were the points? How many miles? any rust? Does it lose any oil or coolant, or overheat? Cheers, T

If your going to put a camshaft oil seal in you may as well put a new cluch in as they are cheap enough.
I can see from the photos its had tailgate electrics done so thats one job less! Seems like a price for someone it would make a good car
