Nokia Car Kit ...

My C70 has a Nokia car kit fitted (For a 6310 (i) ) now I have "Found" this >>>>>>>http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nokia-6310i-CA...item3caba5c8f7

Now personally I think that is the best thing since Warburtons invented the thick sliced loaf....BUT......

at the bottom of that ad it says

Please note this adapter WILL NOT work with a factory fitted 6310i car kit which is integrated as part of the vehicle, for example in Mercedes-Benz. For a Mercedes with a factory fitted 6310i car kit you will require the ViseeO MBU-1000 which can be found by looking at our other items. If you are unsure if this product is suitable for your vehicle please get in touch.

Anyone had any experience of this (or Other "Things") .. I obviously do not wanna shell out 60 quid to find it does a "Family Fortunes" sound on me !!!


Oh! & Yeah I rang em & they are "Unsure" if it will work with a Volvo & suggest I try it .... ( I did not float up the Wyre Estury on the last Banana boat) I BUY IT .. it DON'T WORK I send it BACK ... They say KNOB OFF you should have checked first I say I DID They say Ect ect ect for the next decade!!!

Re reading that bumf I THINK it SHOULD work OK C70 has no "Integrated" controls (Steering wheel / Centre screen ect) ...it only has the Speaker & Mic built into the drivers headrest ....

Shall I take a Punt or what guys ...... IF it WORKS its a GENIUS bit of kit !!!............

ive got nokia kit in mine but it works on bluetooth no phone holder.......just dial on the dash/.......you use the features on the phone and sound tranfurs to the hands free.

Yeah yours is the "Newer" version Gareth ... mines the old "Cark 91" the predeceesor to yours

i got head unit that does mine,the nokia is ok but to add phone needs code........will ask my bro whats out there what phone are you using........

I use an iphone 3GS gareth ... so its either buy an old 6310 & sim & transfer my calls when I'm in the car (PITA!!!) .. or get this bit of kit & hope it works

I've got an old Nokia Ck7W bluetooth kit which you can have for postage costs. If your current kit is powered with a 4 pin molex similar to the 2x2 block in this pic http://www.jascomms.com/showimage.ph...er_Adapter.jpg then everything else should be ok

These work best with Nokia phones, but I have used my HTC's with it too

My last MB (A E55 AMG) had the telephone prep installed but I no longer had the 6310i phone. Bought a Viseo and installed it.

It works over bluetooth and worked like a charm with the Nokia E75 I had at the time.
