Default SC901 3Cd Changer Wiring

Hi folks, I am trying to change my SC901 3 CD Changer as it does not play cdr's. The unit grinds away at the disc and maybe if i am lucky it will eventually play the track.I have tried numerous brands of discs to no avail. In light of this i am considering changing the unit to a single din, however the standard iso cable to connect a new system is not suitable.Has anyone else had the same problem and if so where did they get an iso cable that incorporates the all the extra connections?

Default Write speed

Hi, before you do anything drastic, what about the write speed? I seem to remember a thread where somebody discussed using a particular programme at a slow write speed - I'll have a look and get back to you!

Hi, Unfortunately i have burnt the discs at the slowest speed possible and it still makes no difference.
Is there a firmware upgrade for these units to alloy cdr's to be played i wonder?

Thumbs up MP3 Player

The other option would be to use an MP3 player with the headunit that you have - have you looked at this option?

How about fitting a 6 stack CDR player in the boot?
That might solve your problem in a round about sort of way.
