Turbo options?
My turbo is starting to let a little more oil through than normal, probably because of the heavier boost (12psi) and a long journey sat in the boost- at 80-90mph.
The turbo is the mitsubishi td05-13c. What turbos can bolt on straight away with no modification at all. Failing that, anyone breaking a b230ft/b230fk? |

any mitsu 13c, 15g, 16t etc will fit bolt straight on as far as i'm aware, you just need to clock the fwd ones (15g etc) to get them to fit a rear wheel drive car. Also need to watch the flange type (conical or flat) to make sure it is 'bolt on' and the oil return line. Make sure it isn't leaking.
Tryinbe (turbobricks) sells refurbed 15gs - i bought one last year for about £300 delivered from the states. very much worth the upgrade over the 13c, and it is a great refurb job, mine was spotless. My car is running, 15g, 2.5"cat back ss exhaust, 10psi, thelostartof ecu chip (turbobricks). I need to find a chippable ezk to get the ignition chipped but its running pretty nice, no idea how much bhp tho but noticeable difference over the standard car running a 13c with mbc. |
