Default Spoiler for a 460...

I've got a 460 GLT and am on the lookout for a spoiler for the boot. To help us know where the back is when reversing as much as anything else. I can't find the small lip type anywhere, but in the breakers today I found a 440 GLT. Will the spoiler off a 440 fit a 460? Is it the same article or something totally different?
Many thanks.

The spoiler off a 440 will fit. However, the 460 spoiler has an integrated brakelight in the centre, where as the 440 spoiler just has a slat. Would still fit ok, but may look a little odd?? I don't know...never seen a 460 with a 440 spoiler! Not sure how to go about wiring the brake light up though.

The 460 and 440 spoilers ARE different. But only the raised ones.
The lip spoiler is exactly the same on both models except for the numbers 4 and 6 ie 1 has 440 other has 460.

regards. Keith

Default Lip spoiler

I tried to fit a 440 lip spoiler to my 460... it doesn't fit exactly. The hole for the lock is in a different place (about 20mm too high). I did contemplate a bit of 'bodgery' but I'll either try to get hold of a raised 460 one or forget the idea altogether!
Thanks Steve
