Are you being serious here?

I clicked on this having owned a 264 many years ago and would consider another one as a 'fun car' but I just can't believe the attitude you're taking with people.

I tend to agree with Jack that it's a decent looking car but after several months of unsuccessfully trying to shift it the fact that you haven't MOTd it does tend to give a prospective buyer the idea that there's a problem with the car you're not disclosing.
Would you care to tell us why you haven't MOTd it please?

Also as a prospective buyer I am very put off by the fact it's sitting on a trailer. Regardless of your own feelings and opinions on the reason, it does create the impression that the car cannot move under its own steam.
I would be concerned about that.
Perhaps you should read through this post and in particular the largely helpful suggestions other members have made and re-think your strategy. Taking some more pictures showing the car in a better state and MOT-ing it would make it look more attractive to a prospective buyer than the rather brusque attitude you have shown here.

To me looking at that car, it's an admittedly attractive £200 scrapper or at best a parts car, and worth nowhere near the £1500 being asked.
It's up to the seller to show I'm wrong, in such a way that I might still be interested in buying it, not threatening me with court action....

==================================

Apparently it has become a sport to bash advertisers.

For the rest you are o so right-- i should pay you at least 500 to please take it of me.

Please continue your happy bashing.

===================

Can you substantiate any of your acquisations please????

something wrong with the car??
why should I defend not having the car moted???

I currently have 5 cars moted taxed and insured on the road.That is sufficient for the timebeing.

Personally I think this thread should end here, it clearly has the potential to escalate without a constructive or positive conclusion. The seller can continue to market his car however he chooses either taking on board the suggestions or not.

Chill!

But those aren't the ones you're trying to sell....

I really wasn't having a go, this is after all a discussion forum and I don't believe I was 'bashing' you as you put it, just offering some constructive advice so you might eventually sell your car. There really was no reason for you to take the attitude you have on here, either in public or in the little message you sent me via PM.

If you don't wish to take the advice that's been offered in good faith, that's up to you of course.

what is constructive about judging this car as worth 200gbp scrap value.???

You must suffer serious (deconstructive) headinjuries.

Dont think you understood my previous post Brodgar, judging by your thanks. It was meant to go against you.
