Default Will it open or won't it? (Open doors)

Hi all.
My 99 S80 2.9 aoto has developed an annoying trait. Rear passenger door will not open on central locking with either key or fob. The passenger door does it intermittently. Alarm service req flashes on start but this may because the doors aren't responding. Alarm lights flash if doors opened when drivers door is locked. All doors make a noise when fob is pressed.
Nothing serious compared to many problems on here but bloody frustrating.
Cheers in advance and thanks for looking

You could reset the electronic box of tricks for this unit.. Think it is called the CEM???

Unplug the negative lead off the battery for 30-60 minutes.

Door open, key in position II (2) and reconnect the battery.

Resets everything, has been known to fix these type of issues before?

I've always heard a good dose of WD40 on the locking mechanism solves most problems. Never tried it myself but I've heard nothing but good things. Give it a try.
