98k, two owner car (myself since Jan 2009), FSH with cambelt service within the last two months.
The car is finished in brilliant red with contrasting half leather black/grey interior and is in terrific condition as befits a barely run in Volvo.
Registered in December 2005 it is on a "55" plate and has 10 months MoT and taxed until the end of June.
The car had new front discs recently and has wanted for nothing-Diesel Particulate Filter was recharged at the local main dealer some 5 months ago.
The car is located in Sheffield close to the M1.
I'm looking for in the region of £4150 but be quick before I change my mind again!
Cheers, Tony

Are you sure?

I was under the impression that the S60 Euro4's DPF required no maintenance under normal circumstances and certainly had no facility/requirement to be recharged ( unlike the DPF on some other Volvo models ) and that it went through it's own self regeneration. Perhaps i am wrong and someone will advise accordingly.

Yes, I'm absolutely sure.

It does self generate but over time the soot may build up to the point that it requires a dealer fix.

So you are not correct and if that were not enough go on to question my judgement with other work I may or may not have had done.

Thanks for hijacking my ad!

YOUR choice of words iin the words in the ad has caused misunderstanding. What you have had done is a dealer FORCED REGENERATION NOT a DPF RECHARGE, ( Two entirely different things ). Dealer Forced Regeneration fixes a problem error message and is NOT routine maintenance!

Those Volvo's with a seperate tank for the DPF fluid ( Not Yours ) do indeed have this recharged at the correct service intervals.

By the way, your car sounds very nice and is very fairly priced. Good Luck with the sale, hope it goes well for you.

Sorry if you feel that i have deliberately tried to be awkward as that was not the case.
