Default Rear Parking Light Bulb Replacement

Ok gang

How do I change the rear parking / position bulb? Its the upper bulb of the two on the nearside.

I have had a look at it and it appears that I can get to it but how to I release the bulb holder so that I can change the bulb?

All help appreciated!

Alan

It should be a 1/4 turn plastic (white on mine) holder with a 'tounge' to get your finger tips on to.... just!

Thanks for that. It appears to have a plasic strap on it that looks as though it pulls the bulb holder out?

That doesn't sound quite right? As Symes says, the bulb holder is twist to release, it looks a little bit like the top from a touch-up paint holder, the ones with a brush in the lid.
The lower bulbs are accessed by removing the corner trim panel and the insulation behind, the upper ones need the speaker grill and then the speaker removed - have you done this OK?
When you take the bulb holder out, take careful note of which way round it goes and how it aligns with the hole, they only go back one way and if you don't get it spot on it takes quite a bit of fiddling about.
