Default Paint job in Derby your views please

Hi

I have a 480GT and the roof is in need of a respray.

Any recommendations for a good spray shop in Derby or is it a case of get the lucky pin at work on the local trade pages.

Any views most welcome

Martin Buxton in Horsley Woodhouse, 01332 883080.

Did a fantastic job of restoring my Mercedes and at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with the standard of work done and got to view the car at several stages during the work to see how things were going.

He is very busy with Motor Trade work and Insurance Claims, so if you're in a rush he's not that much use unless you pay top whack to become a 'Premier Client'. If however you just leave the car there and ask him to fit it in as and when they get a moment you'll end up with a cracking job at a good price.

I realise just doing a roof is not going to be as time consuming as two wings, a wheelarch, jacking points and boot wells followed by a respray of everything bar roof and bootlid so he may be able to fit that in a bit easier than you having to abandon the car there.

I use Lant Lane Bodyshop near Tansley Matlock. Superb workmanship and very reasonable prices. Recommended.

Or... the paint shop I use for my motorcycle bodywork also does cars;

Again beautiful work, and I think they actually do more cars than bikes at the
moment.

Cheers Chris.

I guess Stoke on Trent too far? Guy over here who did my neighbours Corsa in black - absolutely outstanding, I mean really really good! I'm going to get him to do my roof on the 940 Estate as the laquer is pealing all over the place.

I'll give you the details if interested and distance not off-putting.

A friend of mine had a terrific job done on the Westfield he built. Lives in Chesterfield. I can seek details if you want.

What kind of money would be involved in getting an estate roof sprayed?
