Your pattern of car use sadly isn't ideally suited to getting the best out of LPG. If the car's thermostat is old it might be worth changing that - the car will probably warm up faster if the 'stat is working at full efficiency. The other observation is that it's good to run LPG engines on petrol for a bit - helps to keep the petrol system in good working order if it's used from time to time. Cheers Jack |

0.8 mile in winter is virtually identical to my S60 factory fit, it's absolutely normal. No car is going to have good consumption on a 2.5mile trip. My new A6 will do 54 mpg on the motorway but on a trip to the nursery to drop off the kids in the morning I'm lucky to get 30. In the summer te S60 used to switchover before the ned of the drive.
