  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

No it doesn't. Imagine using a starting handle - it rotates CLOCKWISE.

(Morsing said anticlockwise but that was sitting inside the car)

Therefore the reaction to the rotation of the crankshaft rotating clockwise is as you say that the block tries to rotate anticlockwise ( viewed from the front looking back). That puts a compression on the driver's side mounting.

Its the reaction to the rotation that puts the force on the mountings.

Finally got chance to look underneath and the drivers side mount has totally collapsed. It looks intact from the front but from behind its completely shredded!

Anyone know where I can get a new one?
