Default Lambada / Oxygen sensor.

Hello,

My Lambada waring has come on a couple of times. The Garage read the code as the front Oxygen sensor. They have suggested taking it off and giving it a clean as the holes in it can clog up with carbon deposites. Would this sound sensible??

Also, if I need to replace it, what are my options? Apparently Volvo ones cost £140. I see Euro parts do a Lucas one for about £80. Are these any good?? Or does anyone know who makes the Volvo ones??

(1996 850 T5)

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy.
