Heading towards a month now and my Spotify app still will not work - as yet no comeback from Volvo UK and I'm getting VERY frustrated

Entering a different user account was the only way I resolved mine. Worth signing up even just for a month and cancel the orginal account? It'll cost you a tenner max for running the two concurrently but gets it working. You'd need to use a different e-mail so I used my work address.
I can hear you now saying why should you have to create a new account to fix someone else's bad coding.... but it'll get you up an running which is maybe less of a pain that not having it at all. Your choice.

As I said a fewe pages back since the update I can still login but its started buffering a lot more which is annoying, the older revision was better.
I know its a bit extreme but have you tried a factory reset of the system and then installing again? (Settings - Factory Reset) I know you'd lose all your preferences and stuff but might be worth a go? (I haven't tried this as I don't have the login issue but might be worth it?)

1) No dont want another account or email address!!
2) Yes full resets done after I took pics of all my prefs - battery disconnect etc etc Nothing works to resolve this issue - am I the only one?

Changing account resolves the issue, well more a work around really. But you don't want to so looks like you're stuck.

And that's the point - y should I spend further time doing this when the problem has been caused by, and should be resolved by, Volvo. It's another niggle to add to the list that makes me start to think about changing the car

I agree with you....but it's one of those things, spend 10 minutes sorting it out yourself or weeks waiting for someone else to.

I'm not going to argue!! It's their issue not mine and until it's fixed my wife's purchase of an XC40 is on hold - they know that and if they can't fix it we'll go to one of the German marques
