The current weather is making it hard for me to wash mine. Can't be bothered either lately.

I took the injectors out again today. Must be about the 15th time ive done it now. I think i could probably do it with my eyes closed now. At least its stopped the knocking noise when under load. There was a lot more soot around one of the injectors that the others so i'm guessing it wasnt seated properly after I replaced it the other day. Anyway, after 18+ months of ownership, it now doesnt misfire at any time, even when hot. Phew.
Congrats on the MOT Gatos. Mines due soon...

Finally had bushes and links changed (at least I think that was what was done) lol. All I know is it is no longer clunking or rattling. Next job replace corroded break pipe.

Congrats Alex but I'm sure with how well you care for your cars running it wasn't a surprise.

I hate cats!!!
Washed mine last night, to find scratches down the C-pillar, where someone's cat has climbed onto the roof - GRRRR!
Going to buy one of those electronic cat deterrent units, to keep them away, as I am sick of washing dirty paw prints off the car. Gary

lol Gary. You would have multiple heart attacks if you came around mine. Have quite a few kitties. My oldest cat likes keeping me company when I do things to the car. She either sits on the rear seats grooming herself, or on the dashboard soaking up the sun rays or the roof of the car. I've lost count on how many times they tried to jump on the car, only to fail and deploy their sharp claws on the car paint trying to stop falling!!! lol You can hear the screetching of their claws on the car paint and see the 4 lines....lol. Oh and my car is full of muddy paw marks all over, which personalises my car. The good thing is that there is no bird crap on my cars, as the kitties keep them away

Strange isn`t it, i have not touched the S40 1.8 since i`ve had it apart from oil and filter change etc.
But the other week did front disc`s and pad`s together with a new thermostat also changed oil and filter and i thought good that` is it for quite a while. How wrong was i, a stone hit the drivers headlamp and the damage must be an 1" in diameter together with cracks, steaming up has followed. So today is headlamp day as i bought a SCANTECH glass etc. which only cost £36 with delivery, it is the phase 2 clear type. I wonder if i will have to replace it in 6 months Ha! ha!
