Good News!

Just had this from Volvo:-

Dear Mr G

Thank you for your email regarding the settings for the lights when driving abroad. I can certainly appreciate that over a long period of time this would become very frustrating and I am pleased to advise that there is a CEM software upgrade solution available which will resolve this for you.

Please arrange with your nearest Volvo dealership for this to be done. From the postcode you have provided your nearest Volvo dealer is Kastners Exeter on 01392 201040.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact Volvo and please let me know if I can be of further assistance in the future.

I would give your dealer a ring and tell them you've heard there is a CEM update for the XC60 and is there one for yours! I'm off to Holland the same day and hope mine are working properly then!

I arrive in the Netherlands on the 4th October on route to Northern Italy.
Seems like every Volvo owner is leaving the UK.
It is a masking tape job for my headlights.
Will also fitting my winter tyres, before setting off.
