Dont take this the wrong way but I'm disappointed with them times,
My st170 when standard ran quarter mile at York in 15.5 and that's 30bhp down.
Maybe the car is ill or been an estate it weights abit more.
I would just expect it to be abit quicker.
It's not the driver as your reaction times are really good.

Well it will be down on power, it's never had an engine refresh and the head gasket has gone lol!

Out of interest what does a good stock t4 run a quarter mile in?

If I remember correctly there was a chap who got a banger of one for £300 ish on T5D5 and did 14.8 @ 96mph I think it was.

Not a chance from a standard T4 with full interior. Especially on a cold day when track temperature impedes grip.

I'll admit my T4 gets a hard life and the misfire on the way down, coupled with coolant usage and the habit of popping out of 1st gear doesn't bode well for it but on the other hand it meant I wasn't afraid to wring it neck and bang shift those gears like my life depended on it.

Everyone was running slower than hoped yesterday due to grip issues. I was spinning up in 1st and 2nd every run.
