V70 D5 with 108k - so far no problems.
XC90 D5 at 80k - no problems either.

s80 2.5tdi 2000 model 200k miles approx (I cant tell)

DIM has totally dies noting no lights no dials

dies 12 months ago
luckily suprisingly its not an MOT failure
I use my road angel for speed now
the only real pin is it has knocked out the heater controls

think its the power regulator

Wasn't sure if the 1W led would be bright enough, it probably is ok, as the usual lamp is 3W as opposed to 1.2W for the other indicators. So decided more on a whim than science to do it that way.

Soldered staright onto the track, encased the led legs and the resistor in heat shrink sleeve.
As I say gives a very nice light. This method could be used if you wanted a coloured dash too.
