Yes I had a new module sent and fitted it yesterday and all is working well with it both the key fob and interior button open and close the tailgate so if you are still interested then I can recommend ordering one and give it a try

So, I've never even tried to install my module (whatever version it is for a XC70 MY2016) but I'm selling my car so if anybody is after one let me know.

I disconnected the unit and the door opens fully as it should.

I owill try to rewire the unit when I get some more clips for the trim panel (the thin white ones). Does anyone know the part number?

Don't want to take the panel off more times than I need to!

I wonder if one of the pins came loose from lock or button.

I installed mine over the weekend on my 2010 V 70 with a hydraulic lift. Works great. Three wires to the button, two wires to the lock as per the instructions for version 2.3.

I have exactly the same issues with the module as wingnut. I also thought that the problem might lie with loose contacts but I have pushed, prodded and tinkered with the connections until I am about as sure as I can be that they are OK. Evgeny feels that the problem is a module fault and is sending another one. When I return from my holidays I will disconnect the old module and replace it with the new and see if it solves the problem.

I sent the unit Tatsfield.
Let's wait for when he will get and replace the module.
If he has a fault persists, then I will also send you a new one.
