RE: Should I get my car Rica'd?
Is there a problem with the car? If so then it needs to be checked out.

RE: Should I get my car Rica'd?
If we're talking about what is essentially maintainance then I can't see any reason why Adam should offer a 'post-dated' check. It's a very good idea to point out any faults prior to upgrade (stage zero - perfect operation of a standard spec car), but that level of service certainly can't be taken for granted!
cheers James

RE: Should I get my car Rica'd?
No the car seems fine, All still seems well with boost etc, little use of oil but nothing major. Had a small problem a month or so ago but solved it with new HT leads and Plugs. I just get paranod (i know it's not spelt right) sometimes...lol. The car does seem to run alittle hotter after the upgrade, but again nothing the fan etc can't keep up with.
As all things go i'm very happy with the upgrade and would recomend it to anyone.

If you have had your car serviced since visiting Adam then you should be OK. But always make sure your plugs, leads, distributor cap and rotor are all in good order. Also check the inlet hoses from time to time for splits.
It hardly seems worth the fuel cost to take your car to Adam for him to check it over. Simon |
