So that would make mine a "946" then?.
A 940 saloon based limo,9 series with a four pot engine and six doors.
All I need now is a 946 badge made up out of two old ones using the 9 turned upside down and used as a 6 to fit where the 0 would be.

As the subject has got onto badging?Did volvo make any badge that might look OK on the back of my Limo.As in EXECUTIVE or something like?
Regards Brian.

Now why didn't I think of that?Maybe to obviuose.
I will have to see what I can do.I did think of buying some individual numbers chrome ones from halfrauds but they wouldn't look right.I reckon to look correct they would need to be on one solid backing as is usual to the marque?

Anyone know if volvo did a badge like "executive" or similare? That would look nice on the back as well.
Mind you the actual volvo badge on the back is faded on the silver bit.I was going to prise one from my old 240 but they are different sizes(length)(height).

Thanks for the suggestion though.
Regards Brian.

Years and years ago there was a 245 Limo on eBay. I didn't bid as it was in a bit of a state, but I saved the photos to remind me that one day I wanted one...

Was the extended estate RHD?

I think I saw one at a Volvo event at Shrewsbury perhaps 15 years ago.

Thanks for posting the photos

Just bringing this up to date as one of these is now up for sale. The blue one which initially sold for £511(edit I think this went for more I got mixed up) but apparently must have been pulled or the buyer changed thier mind as the seller was the original seller?

Yes I still want one but as usual no workshop or facilities means I probably won't be getting it.

Regards Brian.

Forgot to say they originally sold on ebay on september 24th 2011.
