On 17th.May, Mr Justin Bingley, the registered owner of the domain www.vpcuk.org and www.volvot5.co.uk posted content concerning myself and one other person which I would like to counter for my part on this forum as I am unable to respond elswhere.
Mr Bingley refers to a period when he, together with a relative known as Mrs Mopp and others were moderators on a site www.volvo-t5.co.uk That site volvo-t5 was owned by a student who is a Volvo enthusiast and at that time left the day to day running to his moderators as he was very much occupied with his studies. Those moderators were and remain close associates of the owners of one of my competitors and edited or deleted posts that referrred to my business and those of others and in fact those very moderators posted defamatory statements about myself and particularly the business of another of my competitors. After some consideration I approached the owner of that site and we negotiated that I would advertise there for a fee and that he would tell his moderators that our subsequant relationship meant that I would be a wellcome participant on that site, subject to the normal restraints that are a part of such arrangements. However, what, if any instructions he had given to his moderators in consequance of my arrangements were apparently ignored and my registrations in varying forms and subsequant posts were deleted. Mr Bingley had for some time been running his own competing forum volvot5 with some of the same moderating team as on the similarly named other site. What I was late in understanding was that those very common moderators were directing the participants in the one established and well frequented forum to that owned by himself. At or arround that time the owner of the earlier established forum closed it, unable or unwilling to continue to fund it from his student income albeit suplemented by some small advertising revenue and of course faced with the defection of his moderators who had directed his traffic elswhere. There is another statement that I have 'called' some participants in his forum and maybe some other associates of his. I am not entirely conversant with the term 'called' and therefore cannot make a specific comment on that. Regards, Don.Norchi. |
