I've started a new pressure group, gonna sit in the aisle in Waitrose annoying the bejesus out of folk. 'Just Stop Loinfruit'. Catchy huh?

There is something to that, the inconvenient truth about just every environmental related issue is that there is now far too many of us to transport, house, feed, cloth, etc.

So to recap, in the first quarter of 2024 both Tesla and BYD, the worlds largest makers of electric cars, have both reported significant falls in new registrations.

The impact of the EV market is far reaching. Also in Q1 of 2024, Online dating Apps Tinder and Plenty of Fish have also reported substantial drops in registrations of members, citing the growing trend of people "Charge Bonking" - i.e. the past time of having 25 minutes to cop off with the most attractive (or more desperate) of the EV owners you stuck sharing the charger bays, or queue for one with.

"Sally, 28 year old Blue Model Y owner would like to meet mature male Polestar owner, preferably Red, must have extended range and dual motors...."

That is where I have been going wrong I'm still stuck in the days of loitering by the ready meals for one counter - hoping for a hot dish to take home. I obviously need to get with the times.
