So it's everywhere, literally, everywhere. Trying to discredit the source chimes well with David Lammy trying to convince the public that it doesn't count because we're not in power. Laughable, and desperate.

desparation..... whose desparation?
All you can offer is the proper reporting of the true desperation of the governing party in making allegations that are open to being proven. Presently no facts whatsoever, just panic and grasping at straws.
Hopefully this decent and capable woman and those around her will handle whatever the Police are able to report on and and she will be able to serve us well in the future in our next government..... Don.

What is being reported is the fact that the Police have discovered sufficient evidence of criminal offences having being committed so that under their due process they are duty bound to start a formal investigation into Angela Rayner, which will mean she is interviewed under caution. Whilst it's entirely possible she will be cleared, it's a position of suspicion that would have been avoided if she's conducted herself properly. And she may be decent and capable but so far clearly she doesn't have the experience or gravitas to fill that post. The Labour Party have a histroy of appointing Deputy PM's from 'up Nurth - John Precott - like him or loathe him he'd been around the block and knew how to operate. Regardless of any good intent, Angela Rayner is a country mile away from that, as is Starmer. She's not educated, she doesn't know how to behave. She's described herself as John Prescott in a skirt, but actually she's much more like Boris Johnson in suspenders (a horrible thought).

I think suspicion of evidence is a more accurate description, if they had evidence she would be charged already.
It's a storm in a teacup, a desperate government who have failed by just about every measure trying to distract attention from themselves by going after the thing they can't handle, a woman who speaks her mind and doesn't know her "proper place". Like her or loathe her we need more like her, people who have lived an actual life, not people who think a life of privilege gives them an automatic right to power.

I'm not entirely convinced Rayner is deputy leader material.
Like I said in an earlier post, its bad no matter which way we look at it. Sunak will probably lose the general election. Then we'll end up with Starmer and Rayner. I wouldn't call it an improvement.

And we absolutely don't need more people like here - we need a government built on honest, credible, educated, experienced, consistent and strategic leaders who have integrity - not more noisy gobsh1tes like her. Likeable to some though she maybe, like Liz Truss, once in power she's quickly fall apart and won't have the support from the establishment. Unfortunately the people we really need, be that red or blue, aren't popular in a social media YouTube world.

I think at least the last 3 elections could be described as that, they were lost, not won.....

While I don't particularly like her or her style we need far more people with the likes of her background, not less. Parliament on all sides is stuffed with trust fund Hooray Henrys and career politicians who know nothing about a real days work or understand the impact of their policies. Few of them are fit to make decisions that change all our lives. We need far more MPs from a working background. Personally I doubt there is anything in it but bad feeling from a red wall tory about to loose his seat, I can't see her offering to step down if there was any chance she would have to.
