I doubt that this will sell very quickly, so I don't think there is too much of a rush. Alan |

Maybe not Alan but if you are going for it, you could swing by on your road trip to pick it up and save yourself carriage charges.

Sunroof Seal
I was greasing the sunroof seal this eve (with Silicone, as per the advice) and noticed that one part of the black seal - the rearmost corner on the driver's side - is not attached, I've tried to show it in this photo:
... the seal appears to be made of two parts - a straight piece at the back that is attached to the moving part of the sunroof, and so retracts, and a U shaped part that stays with the roof as the sunroof retracts. The U part of the seal on the left hand side of the car seems quite well fixed, but as you may see the end of the piece on the right is not. The sunroof is still waterproof (and has been well tested during last week's storm), but this is something I need to sort before the spring when we might actually start opening the sunroof. I can't find any details of how the seal attaches in the Autodata manual I have; would someone let me know how to re-attach it, or whether I should fit a new seal. Alan |

Can you get a better lit picture please Alan? Assuming you're not going to be fighting Dennis the Menace at the time you do it of course!
It's a bit difficult to make out exactly which bit you're referring to.

This one can wait a while - it is half term so Dan (my son) and I will be off on some errands and visiting family for a few days. When we get a nice day next week I'll get some better photos to show what is going on. I don't think this will be a big issue, I just need to know how the black seal (it looks like some sort of rubberised fabric material) attaches, maybe there are some clips, or adhesive? Best wishes, Alan |

Many Thanks Everyone
Having recently made several posts each day about the issues I came across with the Royal Barge, and received some excellent responses, things will go quiet for a few days from Radio Othen. My son Dan and I will be away in Essex, Devon and Hampshire for half term, we may or may not have much access to the internet.
I wanted to thank all those who have taken an interest in this thread and helped me sorting out the Royal Barge's little issues for the past week or so (it seems like I have owned the car for much longer than that). Best wishes, Alan |
