Helloooo ....
Just got back in time for the match lol might as well not have bothered! I'm never buying croissants ever again! Anyways, the route I have in mind is out of Mullingar town to Belvedere house, only about 10 minute drive. Great for photos too. Shortly beyond same there's a turn at 'Tally - Ho' which leads to the nice lakeside scenic spot for - you guessed it - more photo's. I was thinking we do this on the way back ( having done a loop at tyrrellspass ). Here we are: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.441513&z=11 Didnae expect to be back so soon lol, looks like it's progressing nicely Damn, ye weren't supposed to do that well without Tony ....

Indeed Hugh, as Del boy once said 'pot pourri'! ( I think he meant 'of course' in French! )
I'm a little all over the place, as 700 miles in the past week will confirm lol. If I am going from Thurles I'd be on for meeting up in Nenagh for sure. Cheers, Tony.

We were up around Banbridge today/yesterday to collect my mates V70. The M1 toll bridge is a couple of kilometers south of Drogheda so I reckon any of you coming from NI won't even get that far.

For what it's worth to the Northern guys, I would recommend bypassing Dundalk on the M1 and jumping on the N52 SW. I've followed the N52 SW a couple of times and it's a fantastic stretch for enthusiastic driving with not much traffic.
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...3,2.694397&z=9 No Sat Nav required, M1 then N52, just make sure you know where the hotel is in Mullingar!!

Oh, just one other thing ....
I put a post on the Motors section of 'boards.ie' some time back ( linked to here ), there's a couple of lads on there who are Volvo heads. I'm banned ( and proud of it ) for a month so if anyone wants to pop another post up there feel free Regards, Tony
