Maybe as you suggest a gloss black centre around the hub cap with a grey rim might look different. Best to photoshop it first though. If trying something really different I would practice on a spare wheel first.

So, I've just realised Mitch has done a whole thread on this last week...
My ideal would be a set of 5.5 steels in silver, but no budget for that right now so I'm working with what I have, they are 4.5 estate correct wheels and will be fitted with some 165/80 tyres and atlas whitewall inserts that I have, if I don't like the white walls than easy solved , looks like its hard to go away from silver/ metallic grey.... |

So yesterday this happened......
I handed over the reigns on my project, But just for a week Off to the paint shop she went for the outside to be done in the booth.... I raised a little white flag and decided to let them do the priming too, I had hoped to prep the car to the point of being 100% primed and flattened off so that all the paint shop did was lay on the shiny stuff and buff it up but life threw a jab to the ribs recently and I had to give a little up... Anyway onwards - hopefully I get the car back next weekend looking like a million dollars and start throwing parts at it... In the meantime I need to push a few buttons for parts, rubbers - windscreen seals, door and window seals etc etc Money money money...... (Swedish Lyrics |

While the car is off wit the painter I've been attacking some of the bits and pieces to go back on when I get her back.....
Fuel tank, I decided to strip it back of all the underseal that had been coated onto the bottom side of it... And a few hours later... |
