Today I was going to do the drop links and fuel filter, but it rained so I just stared at the car from my window, in a state of sadness.

4th timing belt fitted
Fuel/oil/air filters replaced Tried to fit new headlamp wiper motors, neither work... One half-works but now stays upright. Still, I have some spare motors to play with...

Car is having a clutch and possibly a dmf fitted at our local garage, finally decided to get it done after driving it carefully for the last year and a half with occasional slipping.
Been driving around my mums 1994 440 2.0 GLT, cracking car and surprisingly quick!

Did the drop links. When I say links I mean link. Yes, the bolts decided not to budge. One dremel, 4 dremel bits, one torx screw busted and a purchase of an angle grinder and job done on the one side. 3 hours from getting the jack out of the car to putting it back in the boot.
Suffice to say when I got the top nut off the suspension dropped. I wasn't prepared and sharted myself a large pony. Also did a friends oil change on her car as it was her birthday and she hadnt changed the oil for a good 2 years. chain wrenches are a fecking nightmare.

That looks sweet, I may change mine as the outwardly rolled single 4 inch pipe mines wearing does look a bit OTT.

From time to time the recirculation and AC on/off (the orange one that indicates that AC is off, green one doesn't flash) lights on my climate control unit start flashing. It flashes them for a minute and then stops, the unit seems to work fine though. What causes this?

Today I discovered that if you reverse back off a small (not dropped) kerb in a straight line then it is a quick easy and efficient way to get your outer bumper off, result! Luckily it clipped back into place pretty easily, apart from buggering about trying to find the right size washer to add where the screw had pulled through where it meets the bottom of the passenger wing it was back on within a minute or two.
