There's plenty of room for your pit kit and spare pants

Sure you may end up constantly passing and being passed, but just because one vehicle is quicker through the corners shouldn't compell the straight line quick cars to go slow to let the better cornering ones past. That's where your driving skill comes in. Or have I got the wrong idea.

1) We are not racing 2) Only allowed to overtake on the straights. If a car is quick through the corners and fantastic on the brakes will demolish and straightline lead a fast car pulls out down the straight but won't be "allowed" to overtake because of the location where they are faster to pass. If passing was allowed in the braking zones and corners there would be carnage - as there are plenty of people with little or no racing experience who also drive their cars too and from the circuit who would really not appreciate going door mirror to door mirror with a trailered track/race car. Being that on the majority of trackdays timing is banned and racing is certainly out the window - and with plenty of laps trying to set the fastest speed down the straight every lap is not really necessary, there is no reason why the fast straight cars shouldn't move over. And finally, Marham is not a circuit which works particularly well for those cars who lack absolute grunt. This is primarily due to the circuits long straight nature and a lack of sequence of fast corners. To give a non-Marham example of this, when I was at Spa last year I almost piled into the back of a Cerbera at the end of the Camel Straight, he promptly baulked me throughout the back section before pulling out again up through Blanchimont - however by the time we got down the end of the Camel straight I was back up his chuff under braking. Once out of the complex he politely moved over, realising another lap with a black shed on his arse wasn't the most relaxing way to spend time on track As mentioned before I had at least 3 cars spin in front of me through corners last year at Marham because they were trying too hard to stay in front throught the twisties. |

you werent following me ! - if you can get on the rough gravelly bits on the outside of the corners , especially the fast left hander, you might end up on the grass .
