I was up the "Fezz" the other day, it gets very busy and I think most of the car parks are locked up of an evening, leaving just the roads in and out.

Hummmmmmmmmmm,

What time is the "meet"? Theres an Asda in Kidsgrove that has a large car park that is always half empty, but thats right up the top of Stoke.

Ive just thought of a place on festival park, around the back where the ski place is. Theres a bank with a cashpoint and quite a large car park. Im sure that isnt locked up of a night. Also, right next to the pub theres a bowling allwy, the car park there is always pretty empty too. Right next to the boozer!

Yes, when you enter festival park from the leek road, via the large roundabout with the large flyover, the bowling alley is left at the next roundabout with the pub, straight over on the right there are some offices with a cash point outside.

No doubt on that estate there will be SOME space.

At the risk of stating the obvious, we need to consider 'the fuzz' in all of this, as gathering on an industrial estate runs the risk of them thinking we're cruisers, and moving us on. With a crowd this size, we also need to consider 'enthusiastic driving'. Usually there's at least a little bit of showing off goes on (of which I'm perfectly guilty), but the cops are bound to notice 26 bricks turning up, and will no doubt be watching us like hawks. I know we've got a bit near the mark at the Crooked Billet, on occasions. Just something to consider.

cheers

James

Straight over from fezzie park, there is loads of room by the odean as already suggested and round by burger king and that sort of area.

Im sure we can find some room anyway, theres a lot of parking in and around fezzie park

Hi,

So long as somewhere can be a designated first point of call, rarther than people turning up in 3 or 4 different places and thinking "where's everybody!"

Particularly us duffers who have not been there..

Unless someone has a GPS fix on the area that can be posted??

Des. . .

Ok...

Going by what everyone has been saying lets say that because of its ease, and the fact there will be less people there, we all meet at the carpark directly opposite the bowling ally at Fesitval park.

Map

Above is a map, it more or less shows where the odeon is.

Now, as for a time. How about 12 noon on the 17th? is that cool with all concered?

as for the local bobbies, it should be ok, a sunday, that early, there wont be many of them around. There places for food and such. and of course, bowling.

is that ok with you all?if the time is too early it can be changed.

cheers,

ramz
