MOT Pass! Yay!
None of the things I'd worried about were issues: apparently I'm a harsher critic than the test is..

Had a cat-back exhaust made for the T4 after the original one bit the dust.

Sounds well but not keen on the exhaust tip. Its too small so I might book it back in for a larger one made that's more true to the T4's standard looks. At the moment its more 1.8i size which I don't like.

Ill get it booked back in for a tip change soon. Just need to work out what I want. Do I go for big oval like standard, DTM letterbox or 3" Cosworth style outward rolled tip haha

Finally got round to flushing the cooling system on the T4, replaced all the jubilee clips with stainless ones, replaced the coolant temp sensor and also found this:

One knackered thermostat! The gasket was in about 4 pieces as well.
Going to order a new one along with the service kit on Tuesday

The intercooler pipe looks a bit oily/dirty so going to have the intercooler off next week to investigate

Not done anything with the V40 except put fuel in and drive it.

Going to tint the sidemarkers next week and possibly paint the grill and the headlight bezels until i locate a set with the chrome rings on. Also on the lookout for some black indicators, some cream/beige cupholders, a cream electric drivers seat and a front splitter

Watched the near side spring snap in two while having it's annual inspection... Deadpan comment from the guy "so that's a probably not a pass" found one of the rear handbrake calipers seized open as well for good measure.

At least it's not winter yet...

How loud is that? Can you still take the family for a relaxing ride?
