tbh, I'm sick of posting polite and formally acceptable responses to this thread.

Ashok is being dealt a raw deal, tantamount to theft, Bobcat is talking more ****e than ten arses, and SW auto's are just as bad if not worse than VT, tbh the recent behaviour of volvo specialists makes me glad that jacq has her work done at a general performance car garage who actually know what they are doing with an engine, and can also provide excellent customer service, I also commend all involved atr their restraint, I'd have been down to remove my property by myself by now with no regard for any property or parts surroundin them

I too am sick of being nice and polite

Everyone can see what's happening and that Ashok is getting the bums rush.

I note bobcat has become suddenly silent.. I wonder why.

I was against the idea myself of a "meet" but am left considering the idea as possibly the only way the engine will EVER see the light of day.

If It was my engine Ross, I'd be following your example and attending myself with a few big lads to remove my engine, and if it required the insistence of plod to help it along, so be it.. I think Ashok is much nicer though and is hence having the proverbial taken.

Yes. I've just spoken to Tez, and it's so.

Bobcat is indeed SW auto's computer guy. and an integral part of their operation. He's been conning you all for years that he isn't SW auto's representitive.

Bobcat is the one who mapped Tez's car so badly that it was coughing and spluttering, and ran stupidly lean.

And Bobcat is the one who blamed the clutch for the car having a bad map.

At least Adam at VT didn't blame my car for his lack of tuning knowledge.....


I've found out the hard way, just as Ashok has, that the 2 main Volvo tuning outfits are cowboys.

I know exactly how you feel. The engine which SW 'built' for me failed prematurely and is now sitting on the floor of my Volvo dealership as a demonstration / example of how not to build an engine (some of the folk who came for the MRG meet were shown it). And just so we can be clear, everything I will post can be backed up by technical staff at the dealership; they were truly appalled at the poor workmanship. Details on this will be posted in a separate thread soon, but this is the sort of thing to expect - this was the turbo return pipe fitted by SW Autos - any guesses what happened to the turbo???...well all will be revealed soon.

so if bobcat writes the software why did stuart say i was wrong when i said he did the writing of the software.

stuart said bobcat only did the soldering , mind you stuart told me he wrote the VOL-FCR software ( also bull ).

seems as everyone who helps him out looses recognition for doing so when he talks to people.

Yes and send them a copy of this too, just to make it clear that a "representative" of the company claims its there. This way there can be no bull from SW if they can't find the engine. Its clear from that post, they have looked, and confirm the engine is "safe",.. what ever that means.
