Which current Volvo is your favourite?

Got to be an XC90 for me - the shear awesomeness of being able to drive the car easily up over and down anything has to make it a winner for me!
Do love the new styling of the V40 tho

XC60 since that's what I recently bought and very happy with it.

My favourite current Volvo is the V90, I recently had one on long term loan from Volvo and was very impressed.

I like the latest XC90, but don't care for half size SUVs (XC60/Kuga or especially the V40CC), it's all about fashion...disappointed that Volvo are making cynical cars, but that is what needs to be done for growing market penetration - especially in the fleet sector.

What's a 'cynical' car? Volvo, like the majority of companies, is set up to make a profit by producing/selling things that people want to buy.

Would love a brand new XC60 but anything bigger would be difficult to manoeuvre around the lanes of the village.

My XC60 is perfect for moving around a family plus dog plus luggage. Nothing half sized about it.

I do like the look of the V90, lovely looking and very classy.

The XC60 is a half size SUV hence my comment.

Of course manufacturers are going to strive to make what the market wants / demands if they wish to sell cars and achieve the market penetration to which 'Prufrock' alludes.

Given the gestation period from concept to showroom of a motor car, I am surprised that they get it right as often as they do. It only needs a fuel crisis, change of administration, or similar and the best designed car can turn into a 'lemon' - in the wrong place at the wrong time. Life must be much easier for the chain store dress designer, where the product life cycle is measured in weeks rather than years!

My preferred Volvo? Nothing current, I'm afraid, but my vote would go to a late model 965 / V90.

Think I must be the only one who thinks the new v90 and s90 look a bit like a skoda superb- not that impressive for the price
