Yeah it took a lot of effort, some very sore thumbs, and a bit of luck as I managed a nicely held fast slide through a double bend that kept the momentum up and certainly aided the time, never managed to get under 42 again for the following 10 laps.

anyway, that means this weeks results were.

Timway - 42.359 (6)
Seany - 43.xxx (5) - Based on the comment "half second slower" than 42.485 on previous page

Aya, was a lowley 42.889 .... I just could not find another second in that one.

You guys using manual or auto 'boxes??

I use auto .... too much to think about otherwise!

Ok, not the most exciting one this week but seeing as today I re-evaluated what I wanted from life in the near future and decided that spendign a few grand less on a car would help in other areas I am no longer swapping the Rover for an EVO, but for a Subaru WRX Sti Version 4 Type R, no version 4 available in the mode we have the competition in, so the version 6 it is which is much the same, same power and body style etc.

Full definition - Subaru Impreza Coupe R Sti Ver.VI

track - Seattle, normal

Usual stuff, no driver aids, full power, least weight via quick tune, happy racing.

I think i've got all the settings right.
So here's my banker lap after about 30 mins of playing
Car 341BHP / 1134Kg
Time 1'46.822

I'm sure there's a faster time in it....

Nice, I had a few goes last night as well and now can't remember what I got it down to but 1:46 sounds respectable after 30 mins.
