Thanks James, that's what I mean. The wheel rocks forwards and backwards when the car was jacked up. I will have a look on eBay for a new hub.
I will email Don about the anti roll bar kit, would I be able to fit it myself or would I need to tske it to a garage? I have searched online for anti roll bar kit, but seem's like no one does these kits for S40 D5 models. |

I found this online, don't want to spend too much money as I have a very tight budget.

Have a check, have you got DTC or DSTC? The bearing you have linked is for DTC only and NOT DSTC cars. You will have a button that turns off traction control, does it say DTC or DSTC on it? |

Zeb246, Glad to hear you're getting your car sorted. Hope it comes together tidily, and you get back on the road soon.

Just had a look on my car, and it has the DSTC. That hub won't fit on my car, will look online and find the correct part.
I will search online for the guide on how to fit hub, hopefully I should be able to do it. |

Zeb, I wouldn't say it is impossible but it is pretty hard to change without the correct equipment. You kind of need a 10 ton press to push out the old one so you can fit the new.
A garage should charge very little to this simple job, probably easier all round? Take it back to your alignment place then they can fit then re-align? Just ensure you do get a hub that specifically states it is for DSTC, otherwise you'll have all sorts of problems and lights on dash. |

Before i go ahead and think about changing it myself, I will look into this and see if I can find the right tools to do the job, and the right part. Otherwise I will ask a few garages, and find out how much will it cost to fit. |

Such a simple job you should be looking at about 30min labour.
