Mine is a 19t that Owen Developments rebuilt.
They ported and polished both housings and fitted Garrett wheels. The wheels are the same size as the originals (though I guess that may be difficult to guarantee as Mitsubishi and Garrett wouldn't make identical sizes would they?). They clipped the exhaust wheel. In theory mine should flow better than a standard 19t as the hot side is less restrictive. It should also be more laggy as a result but it's into boost from well below 2000 rpm - I think this reflects the fact that it's still a teeny turbo, there are supporting flow mods, an agricultural actuator and a map to suit.

wasnt refering specificaly to those 2 cars, in general more bhp doesnt mean quicker even in a streight line it depends what other mods are on each car

Not specifically, a car could have 1000bhp, but if it cannot put that power on the road..... Waste of time, power delivery that isn't too aggressive, coupled with a capable chassis and suspension set up are key to getting the power down, ergo... A car with 450bhp can be quick than a car with 500bhp if it uses that power more efficiently.
