I've solved the volume issue. I've set the volume to 6 with the adressbook settings.
But I'm still missing all of the bass..

i have prepared on the sound generator tones from 10Hz to 20kHz and tested in my car with the following results:
10Hz - nothing (but as expected)
20Hz - it is possible to hear but it is too silent (little bit more than noise)
50Hz - -42dB
100Hz - -36dB
200Hz - -46dB
500Hz - -46dB
1kHz - -40dB
2kHz - -45dB
5kHz - -41dB
10kHz - -40dB
15kHz - -32dB
18kHz - -51dB

there is some peak on 15kHz but it can cause sound directionality. during this week i will do the same test on then brand new piece. mine is 2 years old. but i did not made some major changes on the audio part.

is another device connected on MELBUS? if yes then try to remove it and for test connect bluetooth module directly.

measured on xperia z3 compact

Hi Marek,

yes, I've had the GROM connected also with Y-splitter connected to the GPS DVD-reader in the back of the car. The Bluetooth module is connected via a Y-splitter at the back of the radio.
I will first remove the GROM unit at the back of the car. If that does not make any difference, I will disconnect the RTI at the back of the radio.

How did you make the measurements?

I can try to make a video recording with my phone, to compare the same song but one directly played from CD, and the other via Bluetooth (yes I know the quality isnt 100% the same, bluetooth is compressed, but still I should be able to have bass with bluetooth).
BTW I've also send you an email (I just wanted to make sure you got my message )

i have use 2 devices. one to play the tone and second for FFT (i have used spectroid). the absolute values are irrelevant but differences between 2 measurements are usable :-) . i will also try to burn it on CD and do the same with original CD player. but before i have started to use bluetooth module a lot of CDs was not possible to read (probably too old laser head).

maybe i will do more samples and i will create a graph ;-)

I had same problem with sound over bluetooth.
Only difference was that Yatour device was connected with Y cable. And no RTI. Disconnected Yatour device and after that sound was super clear.

I've disconnected my GROM completely (including Y-cable). Doesn't make any difference in sound.

i am an idiot. for those who have a revision "F" (mentioned on bottom right corner) then they really have an sound issue (missing bass). the solution is to remove R130 and R131. you can put 100k resistor (0603) instead or keep it unpopulated.

this is new feature (not in previous versions) but due to CTRL-C CTRL-V error the value is too low (1.5k).

i am really sorry and i am apologize everyone who have this issue.

R130 & R131 are shown on attached images.

Ah, mistakes are human!
Just to be sure, it is not really necessary to put a 100k resistor back on the PCB? We can also just remove r130 and r131 and leave it like that?
