Seriously though, the earlier cars have adaptive ECUs. Even my late model 440 2.0i did and that was a 1995 model.
Come to think of it, even our old 1995 Zuki Swift had a 'learning ECU' albeit rudimentary.

the white section is 1 bar, so the end of the white is ~15psi and the start is 0 psi.

as std it should rise smoothly to about half way - 2/3rd's.

Whilst on ECU's can you reset them as in when I changed to Shell Optiplop as someone referred to it, I pulled the plug on my Impreza for an hour, then went for a hard drive, what a difference!

definately not std then, the above does indeed suggest\confirm the rod has been shortened. That would also explain why you car made more on the rollers.

thanks paul, I knew my degree in electronic engineering would come in handy one day. Plus ive learnt from the fastest volvo tuner in the uk!!

Not really, I just happen to have a job where i can surf the forum all day long. where as swautos is allways busy so they dont have the time to post.

I'd suggest sticking to the technical department rather than the PR department.

You seem good at the technical stuff.
