Finally fitted my R-Design steering wheel with paddleshifters to the XC70 to replace the shiny wheel polished by the jewellery of the previous incumbent.
After battling with trying to remove the older R-Design wheel from the V70 - more specifically the airbag module - my advice is look up the official Volvo instructions online as the various Youtube clips are not correct for the P3 or at the very least save on teeth gnashing. Now need to fit the matching R-Design shifter & gaiter but that will have to be a centre console out job to do along with the extra USB power points.

The V70 went in for its last MOT & service with me.
All good & passed. Time to give it a thorough clean and up for sale!

Was actually on 27th December, but I treated her to Polestar upgrade.
Not had the benefit of it, as rarely drove her after and last week driving down to Bristol from S. Yorks she was loosing power badly. So into Volvo where the Tmap sensor was faulty, so car was not boosting correctly. So that's all fixed and pick her back up this Saturday when I travel back. Hopefully she is a new car now, as I did notice the odd loss of power before the P* upgrade but put it down to a lazy gearbox as only happened when I put foot down, and only about 2 times, but my drive down to Bristol it happened about 15 times, but now P* and Tmap done it should feel a lot better. Fingers crossed.

Fitted two new headlamp dipped bulbs as the cheeap ones I put in were not giving a great beam spread. The Philips ones are brighter and more even.

Re-did my interior LEDs with proper bulb holders rather than the bodge job I did with bits of wire wrapped round the old Volvo ones with the bulbs ripped out...

After fun and games (& stress) with oil level warnings vs static electronic gauge telling me I was 'OK' on a trip to the Alps and back, i've fitted a proper engine oil dipstick in place of the technician check one.
Old school perhaps but its nice to know i can look at the oil if i want to, so worth 15mins of my time i think.
