Love the colour, I chose Pine Grey but was wobbling and it was my next choice - looks really smart.
My last car had 19s but with really firm sports suspension, so I decided to go with the stock 18s - but it does look great on 20s.
One thing I have noticed whilst driving around is that you don't see that many V60s, not really sure why - I suppose in some way its a left field choice, but after looking at BMW, Mercedes & Audi the choice was very clear for me and I don't regret it one bit!

I've noticed that too, quite rare to see them (whereas see loads of A4/A6s). I always give a fellow V60 owner a friendly nod if we see each other!

Lovely looking V60. If it's an ex 'management car' put the registration in a Google search and you may get some good press photos of it, if it was tested by magazines etc.
I bought an amazingly well specced V90cc and have some great photos (if alarming) of it off road. Needless to say I went through it with a fine tooth comb after that but it's a fantastic car and a great way to get so many options at an amazing price.
Have fun with it.

Press cars can be a real bonus as they are prepared to exacting standards in the main. I have had a BMW that showed press preparation as an option code, it really was well screwed together..

It's interesting how every ex-Volvo car seems to gets labelled as a 'management' car.

Some will indeed be cars run by Volvo management and some will be Press cars as mentioned. However if Volvo operate like other manufacturers, I suspect many will be cars offered to non-management Volvo staff for a few months at a time either as part of their renumeration or at a very attractive rate. It helps with number of registrations and staff get a shiny new car every few months.

It was a while back (2005), but the Volvo Management cars all used to have similar registrations each year, except I forget what they were. Also, according to a Volvo PR bunny friend of mine, they were all registered to Marlow, Bucks, where they HQ used to be (Globe Park if anyone is interested), so had the Reading code, which is (or was) RA or RY.

Yes, when I said "management car" I just meant it was a Volvo registered car - not a private buyer - perhaps staff/company car would be a better description?

The second hand market seems to be flooded with them at the moment - good value, well-specced cars.

Question: the main centre console compartment sliding cover - should it be really free to slide or should there be a bit of friction? Because mine just slides open under acceleration when it's got a phone on it.
