Dont think my V70 counts as an "economical" estate sadly! Does have the dog guard though.

Thanks guys, I can afford to run it but it just seems a waste as the missus only potters about in it!! I love them though as people don't know what they are so you saxo yut type are not happy when you sail past them having not had to drop any cogs!! I had an immaculate cavalier turbo before and that was the same (albeit a lot faster). I like the whole '**** that shouldn't go that fast look'!!!!

Was reading other threads about problems with these cars. Mine wants for nothing. Gear change is slick, it boosts well at 2.5k, everything works, no knocks, noises or crunches. My only problem with it is that it costs £80 to fill up and only does 400 miles!!

Cheers Chris. If it doesn't sell so be it! It just seems a waste as its not really being used that much, gets a 400 mile trip once a month then just potters about otherwise!!

Without being rude, id say it was double what it should be...im struggling to shift my S40 of the same spec etc for 1350! I reckon if you were really patient you could get 1600 ish, depends how quick you want rid...
