Had this before and was cured with an ICM reload software, dealer is probably correct, had one or two that have required a new ICM unfortunately

Well car is in Volvo tomorrow for the radio fault, been a a long week waiting and driving with no music is no fun.

Just hope it's something simple and the dealer I got it from pays up, will report back with their findings.

Volvo just called to say they can not find the fault, got dash and radio out et.

They need to contact Volvo, Sweden for further advice.

Well after reading so many other reports on other models like the xc90 losing audio on the radio and parking sensors I am convinced it's the ICM module, the fault codes also mentioned the ICM.

Shall I call the dealer and tell them this or would you leave them to it and wait until they call back? Hate waiting just want the car back.

Spoke to Volvo who seem to think it is the amplifier under the drivers seat, going to confirm tomorrow.

The fault in the end was the AUU module that controls the USB/IPOD interface (leads in the centre console).
