You could if you went in from the rear, I went in from the port hole at the top so the bend made it easier for me.

My W5W bulbs and pliers arrived yesterday so after work tonight I'm going to give changing them another go

All done!

Was much easier than expected, simply took it out and the went in from the back cover (for the dipped beam) and used the top cover to put the new bulb in the holder as suggested. The pliers were long enough to get to the holder without any pain, all good

They look really good. What bulbs are they? Are they LED?

Yep thanks.

They're just xenon filled bulbs with a blue filter

I've heard about problems with LEDs, the CANBUS and them flashing so I've steered away from them to avoid issues.
